Omahyra is a fucking legend. She has been taking over the fashion scene since moving to New York from Santo Domingo at 10 years old. She was voted most beautiful people by People Magazine. I think she is one of the most beautiful icons of my time. Omahyra has been featured in Jay Z's music video for "Change Clothes", and Gwen Stefani(another idol of mine) personally flew her out to walk in a L.A.M.B fashion show. For a while there I wondered where she had disappeared to; she joined the motherhood club. When we speak of "flyer than most" off beat mom's, she is EXACTLY who I am speaking of and inspired by. She is only 28 years old, she lives her life by her own terms, loves metal music, brings her daughter to Brooklyn rooftop parties and she's a fucking badass. Who wouldn't be proud of a mother that came from nothing and made it. When I say made it, MADE IT! She has left a lasting imprint on art, culture, gender, and fashion. There is only one Omahyra.
