F.A.O Schwarz is the oldest toy store in the United States. This is a must see when living or visiting the New York area with kids, even without, a must see! The store is located in the heart of Columbus Circle and Central Park West. A perfect day out in New York could be planned around this store alone. It is neighbors to the Apple store, Central Park Zoo, and The Plaza hotel where Home Alone Lost In New York took place. The store guards are dressed as giant toy soldiers as they great you at the door. The bottom floor has a Cafe to grab coffee and pastries and also has a large sized candy selection. This store is so iconic in New York and makes you feel like a kid again for the day!
